Monthly Meetings

All members and prospective members are welcome to attend our regular Monthly Meetings, held on the second Wednesday of the month, at 14:00.

These meetings are held at Gardeners’ Hall, 213 St. Leonards Road, Windsor, SL4 3DR

NB we now enter via the wide double doors from the car park, not the door shown above left, please go round to the right of the building.

Gardeners’ Hall is wheelchair accessible (via side door from car park) and has a disabled toilet.
Hearing Loop system is available in one area of seating, please ask at the arrival desk (or any committee member) for guidance on the day.

Most meetings follow the format of: announcements, guest speaker, followed by socialising with refreshments. The exception to this format is the Christmas (December) Meeting, which is a ticketed event.

New Members Meetings

These informal meetings are held every few months to introduce our newest members to several Interest Group convenors, who introduce their Groups and outline how they operate.

When the next meeting is being planned, members that joined Windsor u3a in the prior few months will be sent an e-mail invitation.

A Hearing Loop facility can be provided around some tables for those with suitable hearing aids, please ask when responding to the invitation.

The most recent meeting, a New Members Cream Tea, was held in March 2025 at The Hub, in the grounds of Castleview.

2021 Boat Trips

We are grateful to Jackie Wiggins for organising not one, but two, boat trips from Runnymede to Sunbury Walled Garden in July/August. Photos by Malcolm Emmett, Rosemary Deem and Dave Humphries.

Recruitment events

About once a year, we have a stall in the community, perhaps in the town of Windsor, or Eton Action Fair, which has a couple of photos below from the 2023 fair.
